Klaus Wildenhahn, one of the most important documentarists in Germany, died on August 9, 2018.He was the pioneer of DIRECT CINEMA in Germany and had a significant influence on many documentarists. I am deeply saddened, as he was an important teacher, supporter and close friend of mine.
